A friend of mine from Penang sent me a @PenangHoliaoDotCom fb link on this 港式茶餐厅 new Hongkong Style restaurant in Sungai Petani on Christmas eve. It immediately caught my attention and therefore we visited this Hongkong style restaurant on 29 Dec 2021.
早安香港 Morning Hong Kong was just opened since 25 October 2021. It has 80’s Hongkong Cantonese style brunch restaurant theme.
The restaurant is air-conditioned, is spacious and with high ceiling. The menu is quite unique as it looks like a morning newpaper.
Popular Hongkong breakfast and desserts are being served such as Wan Ton Mee, Portuguese Egg tart, Instant Noodle with Luncheon Meat & Egg, Instant Noodle with Pork Chop, White Rice with Chicken Drumstick & Egg, Spaghetti, Nasi Lemak, Classic French Toast, Sandwiches, Polo Buns, Roti Bakar, Eggs on Toast, Classic Bubble Egg Waffle, etc.
As for the drinks, we have typical Hongkong milk tea (港式丝袜奶茶), and Hongkong Ying Yong (港式香浓鸳鸯), etc.
We shall come back again to try the Portuguese Egg tart, polo buns and other specialty.
