Dai You Bin Hong Kong Dim Sum Restaurant Sungai Petani is one of the most popular and established dim sum restaurants in Sungai Petani. Opened since 1997, this dim sum restaurant is one of biggest dim sum restaurants in the area. It has nice ambience with comfortable distancing and more than 100 types of tasty dim sum dishes to choose from. The egg tarts that just came out of oven were super good – crispy on the skin and very soft inside.
The founder of Da You Bin was born in Ipoh. He began his dimsum making journey when he was 17. He was trained under a Hongkong dimsum chef in Ipoh. After several years, he worked in Singapore and thereafter in Melaka and a hotel in Indonesia. In 1995, he settled down in Sungai Petani and founded Da You Bin in 1997.
In 2019, Da You Bin won KWYP prestigious Dr Sun -Sen Spirit Awards organized by Kwong Wah Daily Newspaper.
