According to one of the lady bosses I spoke to, this restaurant was established since 1940 by her grand uncle. During that time, he was carrying a bamboo stick on the shoulder with rice at the front and dishes at the back and was selling in front of this building. According to the old people verbal saying, during the second world war, the building owner invited him for joint venture in restaurant. Since then, the Sin Yik Wah began its business and now it has been 4th generations already.
One of the most famous dishes are the roasted pork and sausages.
