The 新串食代烤串 K.A.O restaurant specializes in charcoal grilled meats and vegetables BBQ skewers. Most of the skewers are a little spicy. It is located in Riverfront city in Sungai Petani.

The Sichuan Mala Spicy Dry Pot (麻辣香锅）is rich in flavor and quite spicy. You can add a variety of meats, vegetables or seafood to make it a bowl.
We ordered a bowl of rice to complement the heavy-taste food.
Service is quite friendly.
Overall the food is tasty and people who like spicy food will like it. Beer is a good complement for this kind of food and is cheaper if you order by bucket. In addition to that, this restaurant is more suitable for adults as children may not be able to take the spicy food.
